Lonely day...

Nothing on tv, room and bathroom are spotless, closet perfectly organized, and no more laundry to do... sounds ideal in my normal world. However, I'm not feeling that great. I'm bored and lonely, and missing Thomas more than ever right now. I didn't really get to talk to him today. He had an early work out and has been sleeping ever since. If any of you know Thomas, you know that he could sleep through WWIII. So even after many attempts to call him, I cannot seem to wake the boy up. He is gonna have a hard time going back to sleep tonight after sleeping this long. Anyways, I guess I have a lot to update you with tonight... I should be overjoyed to bring you this news, but my slight state of comatose has me feeling very apathetic - sorry Thomas!

On to the news. Thomas found out that Pro Day is March 3rd - almost a week earlier than we had expected. If any of you are not familiar with this terminology (which is totally understandable, I still don't really understand the game of football... don't know if I should be admitting this out loud, A or putting it on the internet, B) any who, Pro Day is 'the big day'. Thomas and any other previous Baylor football player who is pursuing the league are tested by NFL scouts, looking for potential draft picks. So, to put it in our more familiar 'business world' terms, this is Thomas' big interview. The only one he gets. This being said, March 3rd is a very important date - please be praying for us that day!

The second bit of news is really not all that exciting but still worth mentioning. Somehow Thomas' blog has been mainstreamed and put on Baylor Fans. This is great publicity for Thomas. Not only will scouts be looking at this, but also with his finite writing skills and vast knowledge of sports medicine, therapy, and nutrition, Thomas has a chance to introduce other atlethes into a more advanced world of training. Pretty cool, I think!

That is all I have for tonight... like I mentioned - March 3rd, big day! Pleaseeeee be praying that Thomas knocks the socks off these scouts that will be there.

Boston count down... t-minus 1 day! I'm soooo excited!!!

Love you all. Good night from Lauren and Charlie :)

O! Forgot to mention... I got some of my wedding pictures today. If you want to see them go to http://f8studio.com/blog/

  1. "Finite writing skills?"

I don't think finite is the right word there. Some other positive adjective, but not finite.
